TARGET Visits OSTIM Technical University

TARGET visited OSTIM Technical University (OSTIMTECH) in Ankara to explore opportunities for university–industry collaboration. Discussions with academic representatives focused on knowledge sharing and technical events that could introduce students to QNX and embedded systems.
The meeting explored ways to help software and computer engineering students connect concepts from their operating systems courses with industry applications. Potential topics for technical events included QNX applications, real-time operating systems and embedded software development.
Introductory QNX presentations, short technical seminars and demonstrations were among the options discussed. These activities could give students a closer look at industry applications and an opportunity to ask technical questions, bringing together academic knowledge and practical experience.
Participants also discussed workshops and industry events that could bring together academics, students and industry representatives. The aim would be to share practical experience in embedded systems within the university and build connections for future joint activities.
At TARGET, we value opportunities to share our technical knowledge with universities and support young engineers as they connect with industry. We thank OSTIM Technical University for its hospitality and the valuable exchange of ideas during our visit.
