Mercury Systems
Mercury Systems develops Direct RF digitisation, compact RFSiP processing, wideband frequency conversion, and rugged display solutions for radar, electronic warfare, SATCOM, C5ISR, and avionics applications. TARGET A.Ş. is the local technical point of contact in Türkiye for defining a Mercury architecture against operating band, channel count, bandwidth, latency, form factor, and display requirements.
Supports wideband direct digitisation and low-latency edge processing through AMD Versal RF-based SoM, small-form-factor, and 3U OpenVPX options.
Combines high-speed RF conversion, adaptive processing, memory, and power management in one package architecture for SWaP-C-constrained platforms.
Pairs the AM9057 downconverter and AM9058 upconverter for phase-coherent RF conversion across the 0.9–18 GHz operating range.
From wideband RF input to edge processing.
Versal RF, RFSiP, and mini-tuner families are selected by assessing operating band, channel structure, sampling, latency, form factor, and SWaP-C requirements together.

Solution architecture
From RF input to the operator display.
In radar, electronic-warfare, and mission-system architectures, frequency conversion, Direct RF digitisation, edge processing, and rugged display are designed against one latency, bandwidth, and environmental requirement chain.
01 / DEFINE
Operating band and channel structure
Operating band, channel count, instantaneous bandwidth, dynamic range, and platform conditions are defined.
02 / CONVERT
Wideband frequency conversion
Upconversion, downconversion, common LO, and channel-density requirements are established for the AM9057/AM9058 pair.
03 / PROCESS
Direct RF and edge processing
Versal RF and RFSiP approaches are compared against sampling, processing load, data flow, latency, and SWaP-C objectives.
04 / DISPLAY
Rugged operator interface
Display size, video interface, day/night use, NVIS, and environmental conditions are validated for LAD-2150-class displays.
Why Mercury Systems?
Direct RF, RFSiP, wideband tuner, and rugged display products within one portfolio support system-level decisions from the RF input to the operator interface.
New-generation Direct RF options
The Versal RF-based family brings wideband digitisation and low-latency edge processing to SoM, SFF, and 3U OpenVPX form factors.
Compact RFSiP integration
Package-level integration of RF conversion, adaptive processing, memory, and power management supports SWaP-C objectives.
Continuity from conversion to display
Mini-tuner and rugged-display families allow the receive/transmit chain and operator-display requirement to be assessed in one system discussion.
Versal RF, RFSiP, and wideband tuner solutions
Mercury Systems product families provide modular building blocks for wideband RF conversion, Direct RF digitisation, and low-latency edge processing in radar, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, SATCOM, C5ISR, and avionics applications.
Operating band, instantaneous bandwidth, channel count, sampling and processing load, latency, form factor, cooling, SWaP-C, display, and environmental requirements must be assessed together when defining the architecture.
System selection and integration support in Türkiye
TARGET A.Ş. provides local engineering support for the technical selection of Mercury Systems Versal RF, RFSiP, AM9057/AM9058 tuner, and LAD-2150 rugged-display families.
Providing the operating band, channel structure, sampling and latency objectives, form factor, platform I/O, display requirement, and environmental conditions at the first assessment accelerates identification of the appropriate solution family.
